About Me Cambodian/Chinese first generation college student, I am the second youngest of SEVEN siblings! I attended a demographically diverse public high school in Pomona, CA where I graduated top of my class. I was a Subway sandwich artist for 3 years. My ultimate hobby is going on thrift store adventures, either by myself or with friends. Random things about me are that I like tennis, biking, flying kites, swinging, Polaroids/cameras/photography, otter pops, and French fries.  I’m spontaneous and blunt. Want to get to know me…JOIN CCASA! :D
Why I joined CCASA I was president of the Asian Club at my high school and I wanted to continue to spread awareness of Asian culture. CCASA offered a cultivating environment for the expansion of Asian culture at Connecticut College. I liked how they were welcoming, assertive and organized in all the events they hosted; not to mention, very successful in their endeavors.
My experience with CCASA I started as a general body member helping behind the scenes. I noticed a lack of Cambodian (Khmer) culture my freshmen year and I felt that I should take on a higher role with more responsibilities that would enable me to help further spread the Asian culture on campus. After ReCONNect I realized how important it to make connections within the Connecticut College community so I ran for the Admission/Alumni Liaison position.
