| About Me |
In high school, I was the president of the student government for 2 years. My sophomore year, as the Project Director of ACCESS (American College Culture for non-English Speaking students), I worked with students and professors from Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Lafayette and Conn College to hold an 7-day educational symposium in Hanoi and Hochiminh, Vietnam in order to promote mutual cultural understanding between Vietnam and the United States. With a major in Computer Science, it is not so surprising I am a student network administrator and a Help Desk technician. |
| My experience with CCASA |
When I joined CCASA my sophomore year as Culture Chair, I did not expect this organization to completely change my definition of being a club member. CCASA and its brilliant members made me more aware of cultural diversity and engaged in political discussions, broadening my knowledge of the world surrounding me. I was encouraged me to act upon my passions and support others’ passions. I learned how to lead as a follower, and how to follow as a leader. Serving as co-chair the next academic year, I am ready to bring forward all of my energy and enthusiasm.
