I am from Westchester County, New York, and I have two siblings; an older sister and a younger brother. I went to Byram Hills High School and graduated in 2006. This summer I will have an internship in Shanghai at the Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum. I am also a member of CISLA and will write an honor's thesis about Jewish identity in Shanghai. Clearly, my passions are in history, China, and Judaism.
Why I joined CCASA
I joined CCASA because I went to the CCASA ReCONNect event and was touched by others stories of CCASA being like a family. I wanted to experience this as well, but also I was touched to hear how this club has taught many alums very valuable lessons. I want to help CCASA to continue being one of the prominent clubs on campus.
